Komsan Thai Kitchen

This authentic Thai kitchen was born out of love for a ​magnificent country and culture with some of the best food ​on earth! Connor was a Rotary Youth Exchange Student ​who traveled as a teenager for a life changing immersion ​year in Thailand in 2009-10. It was there that he was given ​his nickname, Komsan. In his adopted host town of Laem ​Chabang, Chonburi province, he met the love of his life, the ​petite but intrepid Pintira.Their relationship flourished over ​the years, with many a trip back and forth but never a ​lessening of Connor’s love of all things Thai, or Pintira’s ​adventurousness and fondness for America. Pintira grew up ​in a traditional Thai household where she cultivated her ​love of cooking in the family home. Having graduated from ​Burapha University in Bang Saen, Pintira eventually came to ​Jacksonville for keeps in 2018. Komsan and Pintira were ​married and shared a dream that came into being with the ​opening of Komsan’s Thai Kitchen. With its mission to serve ​fresh, authentic cooking, Komsan’s purpose is to bring the ​lusciousness of Thai food to all, from those craving ​nostalgic dishes from the Land of Smiles, to the initiate just ​beginning to explore the balance of flavors unique to this ​delectable cuisine.
